A little about me
Posted on September 1st, 2009 by BeckyI am and 18 year old girl, currently working part time in retail, whilst studying a home learning course in funeral service. (I want to be a funeral director, and eventually own my own business). I use my dolls houses as a means of relaxation and also make handmade cards for the same reason.
I first became interested in dolls houses when I used to help my grandma with hers, unfortunately, in 2004 she passed away, and although her houses were left to my sisters and I, my grandpa still had rights over them and wouldn’t let us have them.
When I had recovered from this huge upset, I started saving for my first dolls house. I had come up with many ideas and themes, and my first one was going to be based on the 1940’s war time era.
Two years on I have brought two second hand houses, witch I am going to redecorate, and have just entered my first competition (The Dolls House Emporium Competition 2009) The competition is my first completed project and I have really enjoyed doing it.

Pictures – I use photobucket as the way in for my pics… (I couldn’t work out the usual way either
).
Download your photos to photobucket, click on the HTML link of the photo that you want to use. It should say copied when you left click on it. My computer is a bit funny so these days I have to left click to highlight the html link then right click to save.
Then go to your blog and right click to paste…

Firstly, thankyou to Sophy…However, I still can’t get it to work!
Secondly, to Rebecca P… Once you have followed the dollshouse emporium comments on making a post you have to wait quite a long time for it to be reddy….they then emailed me to let me know and told me my log in details….This took about 2 weeks!
