More Stitch-n-Time photos

Posted on January 6th, 2010 by Marie

I’ve done quite a bit of work since my last entry.   All the rooms have been finished and are now ready for furnishings and decor.  The first photo shows the right side of the sewing shop.  I’m going to make the store fixtures for the walls that will hold the fabrics and other items being sold like yarns, etc.

The next photo is of the left side of the shop.

This next photo shows the finished kitchen and the relocated staircase behind the oven wall.  I’ve got a lot of nice things to fill this room with.

The photo below is of the finished sitting room; just off the kitchen.  I am going to be adding some crown moulding to the top of the fireplace and then furnish and decorate the room.

The next photo is of the bathroom on the 2nd floor.  This is where the staircase would have come up to if I hadn’t changed things around.  The floor is 1″ slate tile and I love how it brings out the darker blue flowers in the wall paper.

This last photo is of the 2nd floor hallway and the bedroom; both finished and ready for furnishings and decor.

Hi – I LOVE your dolls house. I have recently bought the Magpies kit for my daughter’s birthday and we have started assembling it together. I am sourcing wallpaper and wondered where you got your lovely flowery wallpaper on the top floor bedroom and bathroom from? I find it quite hard to get hold of pretty dollshouse paper here in the UK. Thanks and well done with your project – it looks beautiful. I would love to see photos of the finished project if you have? Charlotte
