A little about me and my dolls’ houses
Posted on June 7th, 2010 by Lexy ReedI’m Lexy, I’m 18 years old, live in Dorset and am currently exactly halfway through my final A level exams. I’ve always been interested in dolls’ houses since I was a little girl, mainly spurred on by my granny who was into dolls’ houses in a big way.
At the moment I have a town house, which Granny gave to me because she decided it was too tall for her (it stands about 4′ 3″ and she was only 8″ taller!), a market stall and a shed. However, due to a lack of time, money and local shops, so far all I’ve really done is collect most of the furniture and accessories to go in the townhouse and made lots and lots of lists of ideas and things I want to make.
My Granny left her her entire collection of dolls’ house stuff to me when she sadly died last summer, which should keep me busy over the summer, although more of that in future posts.
In a few weeks all my exams will be over and I will finally be able to spend time on my assorted projects, for the first time in what seems like forever.
So that’s it for now, study break over, I need to get back to doing some past maths papers and finish making space in my room for yet more dolls’ house stuff!
