The Little-Clarkes Have Arrived
Posted on December 7th, 2009 by julieclarkeHi all,
This is my first blog and it is all about my very first adult dolls’ house. I am going to try and write it from the point of view of the family that are moving into my dolls’ house.
Let us introduce ourselves, we are Mummy, Daddy, Simon and ALF Bump Little – Clarke. We are the family that will be moving into a Mayfair Mansion in the next couple of months, we don’t have a moving in date which is a little worrying as ALF Bump is due in April/May.
We are going to project manage our self build home, but have employed a human to do all the work for us. The shell of our home arrives on December 25th and hopefully by the end of January we will have at least a fully assembled home, it will be basically painted during construction but won’t have any carpets or services.
We hope that the human will allow us to move into the loft as a bedsitter until the rest of the house is done, I’m sure camping in the loft of a partially built house will be fun with a 2 year old!
At the moment we are hoping that the human gets us some basic furniture when we move in and then gets the kitchen, bathroom, lounge and bedroom roughly done as soon as possible followed by Simon’s room and the nursery, anything else can wait.
We will keep you all updated as the works progress.

Hi! I love the way you tell your story. I am age 11 and just got my first dollhouse and was thinking of setting up a blog from my people’s point of view. I have LakeView and it is also in progress. Can’t wait to see what happens next with your family.

I like the way your story goes. My little ones are having a change of furniture and are waiting on a couple of things. One of my shops (a china shop) is taking up a bit too much of my time and savings but is coming on a real treat, what started life as a one floor shop now has three floors and is becoming a little full.
