Ceilings for dining room and drawing room

This photo is representative of the aged and mildewed ceilings in Grimmauld Place. I used a raised pattern real-life wallpaper and aged it with a dirty water wash. I also peeled the paper in some places to add to the effect.

I have been involved with designing and building dollhouses for 30+ years and never thought to use real raised wallpaper for a ceiling. Great idea and I’m going to try it.
